Having visited San Diego for over 15 years, the Bernardo Shores location is one of the best kept secrets in Southern California. The rates make it truly worth a try. Having traveled throughtout the USA, I do not recall having access to as many desireable amenities in any other metropolitan city. Combine the year round great weather, with hiking, biking paths as well as being close to the beach. Imperial Beach is a gem of a beach community, surprisingly clean and uncluttered. Each RV space is larger than any San Diego area parks. The activity room provides all the space needed for large family gatherings. Simply worth a visit!

This is my favorite park in San Diego. So close to downtown Coronado and the Beach. Road our bikes on the bike path and In and around Imperial Beach and Coronado. The park is so quiet and kept so clean and nice. Enjoyed practicing my golf on their immaculate putting greens. With the sites being so large, you feel very private. MTS bus stop right at the entrance, was able to get to the Zoo and Downtown San Diego without having to worry about traffic or parking. The office staff is very professional and friendly which made check In/Out really easy. Can't wait to come back!

Very nice park, enjoyable, nice staff, went out of their way. I Needed a coke for a recipe, and they got one for me--no charge. Met some great neighbors next door from Minnesota. WE WILL BE BACK!

We just left your park and we really enjoyed it there everyone was so friendly. We loved the donuts on Saturdays. The bus stop was so convenient it was great getting everywhere we needed to go without having a vehicle! We are planning to come back for the summer. You should really consider taking reservations now for the summer instead of having to wait until january!

I forgot how great this place is. I have stayed here several times in the past but haven't been here for a while I am so glad to be back. I love the peace and quiet. I didn't get to stay in my favorite spot but I the space they had available worked out great. Just wish I could've stayed longer.

This was my first trip ever in my new motor home All I can say is: "Beginner's Luck" was with me. I found this park in Woodalls and booked a site for just a week and am happy to say that it was a great week. I wasn't sure what I was in for but the office staff was so friendly and helpful I had a great week.

Definitely the best park in the area! We've stayed at a couple of parks in the area and never knew about Bernardo Shores until some friends of ours told us about a park they've been visiting every summer for years. They suggested we give it a try. We did, and we are so glad that we did...We loved it. We plan on coming back but next time we will plan on staying longer. There is so much to do in the area. The best part is we able to get everywhere we wanted to go with out a car! We were able to ride our bikes to the beach and over to Coronado and we could take the bus into the city. The bus stop was right out side the park gates. All in all the location was great and the park itself was beautiful so clean and quiet.

Great place to stay for the U.S. Open Sand Castle Competition. We have been going to the Sand Castle Competition for years. This time we decided to take our RV and find a place close by we just searched google and we came across Bernardo Shores it had great reviews so we decided to go ahead and book a spot. It was great the reviews were right on the money--it was very clean and the location was fantastic.

This is an "adult" park and although children may stay here, there is really no activities directed to their group. The most descriptive word for this park is "IMMACULATE." The security and location is excellent. It would be hard to find a better value within thirty miles of San Diego. Wi-Fi is available, but expensive at $4.95/day. One of the really convenient aspects is that mail is delivered to a mailbox at each site. Also, UPS delivers directly to each site. There are continuous ocean breezes which keeps temperatures lower than just a couple of miles inland. Will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a wonderful park right on the southern end of San Diego's Mission Bay, in Imperial Beach. The daily rate is $55, but we stayed for a week with Good Sam so it lowered it a lot. Lovely breezes off the water, and we had a clear view of the bay as well (not all sites do). Very neat and clean, hedges between sites, which are huge (big enough for two cars). Putting green and driving cages for golfers. No cable TV, but our antenna/digital converter got all the SD stations clearly. Very nice, modern laundry. They charge extra for wireless internet, so we used our aircard: 5 bars with ATT. Only small issue was they only collect trash twice a week, have no dumpsters and don't recycle. (We found recyclers in the nearby shopping center and cut our trash output by 75% by taking plastics and bottles there). Park is right by the bike trail that runs 8+ miles up the Silver Strand to the lovely Hotel del Coronado. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I found this park to be one of the nicest, cleanest, well manicured and centrally located parks in San Diego County. It's location on San Diego Bay at the south end of the Coronado Strand is prime for long walks or bike rides along the strand, with excellent bird watching opportunities. The mild ocean breezes are constant and the sunsets from the beach are spectacular. Most of San Diego's major attractions are within a 20 minute drive. I'm surprised that there have been no other reviews submitted for this park. I usually rely on RV Reviews in selecting a park, but found this one by accident. The back-in sites are spacious for big rigs including parking for two cars, with a large paving stone patio at each site. You are separated from your neighbor by hedges that border both sides of your site. The park has two golf driving cages and two synthetic putting greens. This is an adult park where most guests respect peace and quiet. There are no shower or restroom facilities but the laundry room was as clean as can be. I highly recommend this park as a base point when visiting San Diego. It's peaceful, quiet and clean. We camped here in a Motorhome.
